The Boy Who Learned to Fly | Usain Bolt

WHAT-IS: "Based on true events from Usain Bolt’s life, The Boy Who Learned To Fly is an animated short film showcasing his unique story and what drives him as an elite athlete. From humble beginnings in a Jamaican schoolyard to his ascendence on the world stage, Bolt finds a way to fly past the pressure. By keeping it light and overcoming the weight of fame he finds the joy of running, fulfilling his destiny as the fastest man alive." (moonbotstudios.com)
Presented by Gatorade, this is a Moonlit Studios production. Usain Bolt plans to retire after this year’s Rio Olympics too tho, so this seems like a nice way to send him off (not that this was the intention of the short tho :p).

IMPOSSIBLE BOTTLES pt 2 by Rafael Varona

Artwork by Amsterdam, Netherlands-based Illustrator & Animator Rafael Varona (www.rafael-varona.com), with this animated gif done for his "Impossible Bottles" series, viewable on his B!
"Nearly two years ago I started a project called "Impossible bottles", which is an ongoing series showing animated worlds kept in what appears to be a vessel. As for the original impossible bottles they show objects that don´t really seem to fit through the mouth of the bottle. Now I was finally able to take some time off to focus on a new set of animations. Unlike the meditative atmosphere in the former bottles - a more vivid and intense ambience is created inside these bottles. Also the plot - if there is one - concentrates more on the things hidden beneath us. The creatures underground." - shared Rafael Varona.
